If you’ve driven past the new Human Bean and haven’t stopped yet: this is your sign.

🎨 Downtown “Art Walls” Almost Full

The Gist: A colorful new addition to downtown Sioux Falls is drawing attention and artists. The Art Walls, located along the 300 Building at 6th Street and Dakota Avenue, are quickly filling with murals from creators of all ages. Launched in May by the Washington Pavilion and the building’s owners, the project invites locals to express themselves on designated alley walls.

🚧 Heads-Up: Summer Roadwork Slows Down Key Routes

The Gist: A wave of road and sidewalk projects kicked off July 21 across Sioux Falls, bringing lane closures, detours, and slower traffic to several busy areas. Expect delays along Cliff Avenue, 12th Street, and Ellis Road, plus full closures on stretches of Broek, Roberts, and Main Avenues. Sidewalk repairs are also underway near Menlo Park.

Why It Matters: If you’re driving around town, especially during rush hour, plan for extra time and watch for signs.
