🍖 A slow-burn samba for the senses

2401 S Carolyn Ave, Sioux Falls, SD
Carnaval Brazilian Steakhouse is a true Sioux Falls staple with its rhythmic tableside service and prime picanha. With Easter approaching, the dining room is a natural choice for a long, celebratory Sunday brunch.
While the lush salad bar is a draw, the warm cheese bread and cinnamon-roasted pineapple are the real stars. It’s a local favorite to enjoy before heading out to pick up Saturday bouquets or tend to the spring soil.

🎨 Historic brick walls and root beer kegs

500 N Main Ave, Sioux Falls, SD
Mosaic Arts & Events hums with a specific kind of creative energy inside its storied quartzite walls on Main Avenue. Tomorrow evening, the annual Art, Apps, and Taps show fills the sun-drenched hall with student projects and works from our local artists.
It is a neighborly evening to catch up over a cold root beer from the Northwest Tire keg and a few snacks from Roll’n Pin. You can try your hand at shaping an air-dry clay pot or a custom keychain while browsing the gallery!
Every bar sale and donation from the night goes right back into keeping these classroom sessions affordable for everyone in Sioux Falls.

🥤 Downtown Sip and Stroll

The Gist The final stretch of Mash Madness is here, and our downtown sidewalks are looking lively. With 25 local spots serving 31 unique creations, this year is on track to set a new record. Whether you are stopping by Severance Brewing for a chocolate-filled raspberry sour or visiting a nearby cafe for a craft latte, there are plenty of flavors to discover before the month ends.
Why It Matters Exploring these creative drinks is a wonderful way to enjoy the warmer weather and see the unique artistry our neighborhood businesses bring to the community. You have until March 31 to visit participating locations and cast your vote through the DTSF app.
🏀 Pro Hoops is Coming to the Pentagon!

The Gist The WNBA heads to South Dakota for the very first time! On April 25, the Phoenix Mercury and the Chicago Sky will face off in a preseason showdown at the Sanford Pentagon at 3 p.m. Ahead of the big game, the Mercury is even hosting a youth clinic on April 24 for girls in grades 3-8, giving our local athletes a chance to learn from the best in the business. If you want to snag a seat, tickets are on sale now.
Why It Matters It’s a true homecoming for Mercury Head Coach Nate Tibbetts and Assistant Coach Megan Vogel, both of whom have deep roots in our South Dakota gyms and communities. It’s a proud moment for Sioux Falls to show the country exactly how much heart and hustle our community has for the game.
